Funding is achieved from the Countryside Agnecy Vital Villages Scheme to help with printing and consultant costs.

A short questionnaire was hand delivered to every household in the civil parish of Slyne with Hest. Additional research into the matters of concern for residents was carried out by members of the steering group.

March 2005
"Parish History - Forward Plan" a public exhibition held in the Memorial Hall . This detailed the past and present of the Parish provided by the History Group and the Parish Plan Steeing Group. Every child from the local primary school contributed drawings of “their favourite place in the parish.” It was a great success and attended by over 600 residents, the local M.P. and councillors. A "Wish Tree" and Post -It notes allowed residents to have their say about current issues.

June 2005
A Draft Issues Report was prepared and circulated to key agencies.
